What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B5057 SYDNOPE HILL, MATLOCK

WHEN: 15th January 2024 to 26th January 2024 (5 days within these dates, and between 09:00 and 16:00 each day)
WHERE: Sydnope Hill, Matlock between junction with Denacre Lane and junction with Jaggers Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Darley Road, Matlock Road, Amber Lane, Chesterfield Road, Asker Lane, Lime Tree Road, Matlock Green, Causeway Lane, Bakewell Road, Dale Road South, Sydnope Hill and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
