What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
ALFRETON ROAD, CHESTERFIELD ROAD
& KING STREET, ALFRETON
WHEN: 14th January 2024 to 20th January 2024 (20:00 to 03:00)
WHERE: A61 - Chesterfield Road & King Street, Alfreton between its junction with the B6025 to its junction with Hall Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6025 Park Lane, Alfreton Road, Primrose Hill, Hilcote Lane, B6406 New Lane, Berristow Lane, A38 Alfreton Road to Watchorn Roundabout, A61 Derby Road, King Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
