TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6543 HOLYWELL STREET, CHESTERFIELD

WHEN: 29th January 2024 to 2nd February 2024 (20:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: Holywell Street, Chesterfield between its junction with the Donut Interchange to its junction with Corportion Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise - Donut Interchange, Sheffield Road, Lockoford Road, Lockoford Lane, A61 Inner Relief Road, Hornsbridge Interchange, A617, Lordsmill Interchange, A619 Markham Road, West Bars Interchange, Saltergate, Donut Interchange.
Anti-clockwise - B6543 (from point of closure), Lordsmill Interchange, A61 Inner Relief Road, Lockoford Lane, Lockoford Road, Sheffield Road, Donut Interchange.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
