U1051 Doddington North Moor Junction To Hazlerigg Mill - Temporary Road Closure

U1051 DODDINGTON NORTH MOOR JUNCTION
TO HAZELRIGG MILL LOWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1051 Doddington North Moor Junction To Hazlerigg Mill from its junction with the C18 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 2518 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th January 2024 until the 1st March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th January 2024 until the 16th February 2024 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U1051,C37, U1048, U1047, C18 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of Openreach for safe access of underground and civil works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
