U4078 BACK CROFTS ROTHBURY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U4078 Back Crofts from outside Rothbury Alnwick District Footpath 007 heading in a westerly direction for a length 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 30th January 2024 until the 1st March 2024. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 30th January 2024 until the 2nd February 2024 between the hours of 09:00 until 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st March 2024.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic

The closure has been requested by Rural Fibre 4 U on behalf of Factco to clear a blockage within the existing infrastructure in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
