Oakhanger Road, Temporary Road Closure due to Works.
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
OAKHANGER ROAD, SELBORNE, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Oakhanger Road between its junction with the Oakhanger Joinery and its junction with Church Service Road. Access only between Latchford Lane and B3004 Forge Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Forge Road, Farnham Road, Louisburg Avenue, Oakhanger Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 22nd January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days between the hours 09:00 - 16:00). This notice is the amended version of the notice with the same date and time to allow the works to take place on the updated area of road.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
