NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Various Roads, Crewe
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – West Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
Derby Street, Crewe – For the full extent. Goddard Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
Ford Lane, Crewe – For the full extent.

This order will come into operation on Monday 26 February 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 22 March 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Delamere Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
St Marys Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
Gatefield Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Flag Lane, Hightown, West Street, Vernon Way, Earle Street Roundabout, Earle Street, Prince Albert Street, Chester Street, Market Street and vice versa.
This order will come into operation on Monday 5 January 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 1 March 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Flowers Lane, Minshull Vernon – From the junction with Middlewich Road to the junction with Bradfield Road.
Smithy Lane, Leighton – From the junction with Middlewich Road to the junction with Bradfield Road.
The alternative route will be via Middlewich Road, Coppenhall Lane Roundabout, A530 Roundabout, Nantwich By Pass, Nantwich Road Roundabout, Nantwich Bypass, Roundabout A500 Cheerbrook, Shavington Bypass, Shavington Bypass Roundabout, Crewe Green Link Roundabout, David Whitby Way, Savoy Road Weston Road Roundabout, University Way, Crewe Road Roundabout, Hungerford Road, Sydney Road, Remer Street, Middlewich Street, North Street Roundabout, North Street, Bradfield Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Tuesday 2 April 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 28 May 2024.
