ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (LONDON ROAD & HIGH STREET, WOOTTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of London Road and High Street, Wootton as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of London Road – from the junction of Grange Park Access road to A45 and High Street – from the junction of A45 with High Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the closure of the A45 for resurfacing works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for twenty three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Wooldale Road, Rowtree Road and A45 to Queen Eleanor roundabout and back or High Street, Water Lane and A45.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (PEMBROKE ROAD, NORTHAMPTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Pembroke Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Pembroke Road, Northampton from the junction of Gladstone Road to St. Francis Avenue.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the installation of a new water connection.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th February 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Gladstone Road and St. Francis Avenue.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (HOLLOWELL ROAD, CREATON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hollowell Road, Creaton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hollowell Road, Creaton from A5199 to Highfield Park.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the installation of a new water connection.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th February 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for five days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Creaton Road, Guilsborough Hill, High Street, Nortoft and A5199.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (HOLYROOD ROAD, NORTHAMPTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Holyrood Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Holyrood Road, Northampton from Harlestone Road to Glasgow Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Glasgow Street, Forfar Street and Harlestone Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (SYWELL ROAD, HOLCOT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS & EQUESTRIANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic, including pedestrians and equestrians from proceeding along that length of Sywell Road, Holcot as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Sywell Road, Holcot from Sunny Bank for 100 metres eastwards.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during traffic calming works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A43, Red House Lane, Holcot Road, Walgrave Road and Main Street.
