Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

A25 Maidstone Road, Seal, TN15 0EH (TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow UKPN works to be carried out and for the safety of the public and workforce, Kent County Council has made an Order for a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30mph to be imposed on a section of A25 Maidstone Road, Seal.

The works are planned from 15th January 2024, with estimated completion by 19th January 2024.

The 30mph speed limit will be imposed between Little Paddock and just past The Spinney.

 

A225 St Johns Hill, Sevenoaks, TN13 3PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of SEW works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A225 St Johns Hill, Sevenoaks, on or after 29th January 2024 for up to 2 nights between 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 142A.

The alternative route is via A225 St Johns Hill, A25 Bradbourne Vale Road/Maidstone Road, A224 London Road/Amherst Hill, Pembroke Road, A225 High Street/Dartford Road and vice versa.

 

Beesfield Lane, Farningham, DA4 0LA  (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of drainage kerb/grip improvement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beesfield Lane, Farningham, on or after 29th January 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Donkey Lane.

The alternative route is via Beesfield Lane, Maplescombe Lane, Botsom Lane, A20 London Road/Gorse Hill/London Road, A225 Eynsford Road and vice versa.

 

Castle Hill, Hartley, DA3 7BG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Hill, Hartley, on or after 15th January 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Fawkham Road and Chudleigh.

The alternative route is via Castle Hill, Ash Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road, Fawkham Road, and vice versa.

 

Coopers Corner, Ide Hill, TN14 6LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coopers Corner, Ide Hill, on or after 17th January 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Piggotts Cottage.

The alternative route is via B2042 Green Lane/Ide Hill Road, B2027 Bough Beech Road/Clinton Lane, Ide Hill Road and vice versa.

 

Moat Lane, Cowden, TN8 7DW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Moat Lane, Cowden, on or after 31st January 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Bassetts Old Barn and Sandfield Farm Bungalow.

The alternative route is via Moat Lane, Station Road, Buckhurst Lane, Cowden Pound Road To Truggers Lane, Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Finch Green and vice versa.

 

Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, TN15 6BF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, on or after 2nd February 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with The Landway.

The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Cotmans Ash Lane, Heaverham Road, High Street, West End, Childsbridge Lane and vice versa.

 

The Lane, Fordcombe, TN3 0RT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Lane, Fordcombe, on or after 16th January 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Pilgrims.

The alternative route is via B2188 Fordcombe Road, Old House Lane, The Lane and vice versa.

 

Uckfield Lane, Hever, TN8 7LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Uckfield Lane, Hever, on or after 2nd February 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 1 Uckfield Cottage.

The alternative route is via Uckfield Lane, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Stick Hill/Hartfield Road/Mill Hill, Hever Road and vice versa.

 

Underriver House Road, Underriver, TN15 0SJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of the installation of an electric cable, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Underriver House Road, Underriver, on or after 15th January 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Underriver House Cottages and Underriver House.

The alternative route is via Underriver House Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
