What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTWAY 8944 HOWE WAY, ACTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footway 8944 Howe Way, Acton from no. 1 to no. 5 to facilitate a stop tap replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be Lime Walk Footpath, Mowe Way and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/01/2024 - 12/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8406 ELMSETT ROAD, ALDHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8406 Elmsett Road, Aldham from Hightrees to Aldham End to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Hadleigh Road, The Street, Ipswich Road Elmsett, Ipswich Road Aldham, Elmsett Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/01/2024 - 12/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1630 TRINITY STREET, SOUTHWOLD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1630 Trinity Street, Southwold from the junction with East Street to the junction with Victoria Street to facilitate gas pipe repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
1. Pinkeys Lane, Queen Street, the A1095, Victoria Street, East Green, St James Green and no vice versa
2. St James Green, East Green, Victoria Street, the A1095, East Street and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/01/2024 - 12/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30 MPH AND 40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1070 HADLEIGH ROAD, THE C473 HIGHAM ROAD AND THE U4316 WADES LANE, RAYDON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for temporary 30 mph and 4u mph speed restrictions on the following roads:
30 mph Sped Restriction:
- The B1070 Hadleigh Road, Raydon from 104 metres south of Wades Lane for 341 metres northbound
- The C473 Higham Road, Raydon from 80 metres west of the B1070 for 450 metres southbound.
40 mph Speed Restriction:
- The U4316 Wades Lane, Raydon from the junction with the B1070 for 113 metres westbound.
This is to facilitate use of a new temporary access point. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 19/01/2024 - 18/07/2025 or longer if extended by the Minister.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE B1084 VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
- the B1084 Spratt Street, Eyke
- the B1084 Butley Road, Wantisden
- the B1084 The Street, Butley
- the B1084 Woodbridge Road, Butley
- the B1084, Sudbourne
- the B1084 Sudbourne Road, Orford
- the B1084, Chillesford,
- the B1084 Orford Road, Chillesford
- the B1084 Padley Water, Chillesford
- the B1084 Orford Road, Butley.
This is to facilitate the clearing of blocked ducts and chambers. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Daphne Road, Raydon Lane, Bullockshed Lane, Hospital Road, Snape Road, Orford Road, Woodbridge Road, The Street, Eyke Road, Orford Road, the B1084 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 19/01/2024 - 28/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
