MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC
REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) Notice is hereby given that the
City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date
of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic
Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC136292950: The City of Manchester
(Temperance Street, Piccadilly Ward) (Temporary Prohibition
of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2023 under s14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit
vehicular traffic on Temperance Street from Chapelfield Road
to Hoyle Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Hoyle
Street & Chapelfield Road, Crane Street, Fairfield Street, Hoyle
Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is
necessary in order to facilitate a railway structural examination.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from
17th January 2024 to 19th January 2024 between the hours of
22:00 and 06:00 each shift. The order shall come into operation
on 17th November 2023 and may remain in force for a
maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are
completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have
effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 6th January 2024.
ORDER NO. MCC136466448: The City of Manchester (Marsden
Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular
Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to restrict traffic on Marsden
Street between Cheapside and Brown Street. The alternative
routes for traffic will be: Pall Mall, New Market, Cross Street,
King Street & King Street, Brown Street. The City Council is
satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate
a crane/MEWP. It is expected that the works will be in progress
from 19th January 2024 to 22nd January 2024 between the
hours of 19:00 and 18:00 each evening. The order shall come
into operation on 19th January 2024 and may remain in force
for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary
works are completed within a shorter period, the Order
shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.

The City of Manchester (King Street West, Deansgate Ward)
(Temporary No waiting and No Loading) Order 2024 under
s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the
Order is to restrict vehicular traffic on King Street West between
Southgate and Deansgate. The City Council is satisfied that this
restriction is necessary in order to facilitate a MEWP for window
cleaning. It is expected that the works will be in progress on
21st January 2024 between 05:00hrs and 08:00hrs. The order
shall come into operation on 21st January 2024 and may
remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If the
restriction ends within a shorter period, the Order shall cease
