U6528 LABURNUM TERRACE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6528 Laburnum Terrace Ashington from its junction with Myrtle Street heading south for a distance of 125 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd January 2024 until the 16th February 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd January 2024 until the 26th January 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th February 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Myrtle Street.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water Ltd to excavate and carry out a sewer repair in the carriageway.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
