C405 Station Road - Temporary Road Closure

C405 STATION ROAD BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 2 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C405 Station Road Bedlington from its junction with Melrose Villas Taylors Buildings to its junction with Palace Road for a distance of 65 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th January 2024 until the 2nd February 2024
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates:-
22:30 hours on 27/01/2024 to 06:00 hours on 28/01/2024
22:30 hours on 28/01/2024 to 06:00 hours on 29/01/2024
22:30 hours on 29/01/2024 to 06:00 hours on 30/01/2024
22:30 hours on 30/01/2024 to 06:00 hours on 31/01/2024
22:30 hours on 31/01/2024 to 06:00 hours on 01/02/2024
22:30 hours on 01/02/2024 to 06:00 hours on 02/02/2024
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via C404, A1147, A189, B1331, C405 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Centurion Site Services on behalf of Siemens Rail to test the level crossing equipment.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
