What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984SECTION 14 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

(COPLEY LANE, COPLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Copley Lane from No.17 Lower Skircoat Green in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Wakefield Road, Stainland Road, Huddersfield Road, Salterhebble Hill, Huddersfield Road, Dudwell Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th January 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(COW LANE, SKIRCOAT GREEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Beacon TM Limited have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Cow Lane from its junction with Wakefield Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.

(SOWERBY LANE, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Lane from its junction with Hand Carr Lane and Clunters Lane for a distance of approximately 350 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Clunters Lane, Cat Lane, The Long Causeway, Hathershelf Lane, unaffected part of Sowerby Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.

(STUBBING DRIVE, HEBDEN BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stubbing Drive from 1 Stubbing Cottages to 5 Stubbing Square for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th January 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ELLAND ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Elland Road from its junction with A644/A643 to Brighouse Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 460 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via A644 Halifax Road, A58, A629, A6025. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22.30 & 05:00.

(HAIGH LANE, SALTERHEBBLE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Amberon TM have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Haigh Lane from its junction with Farrar Mill Lane in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Haigh Lane, Shaw Lane, Shaw Hill, Huddersfield Road, Dryclough Lane, Skircoat Green Road, Godfrey Road, Dudwell Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 16:00.

(A646 SKIRCOAT MOOR ROAD, KING CROSS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of A646 Skircoat Moor Road from Savile Park to Rochdale Road for a distance of approximately 130 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Free School Lane, Heath Road, Skircoat Road, Portland Place, Fountain Street, Bull Green, King Cross Street, Aachen Way and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 21:00 & 06:00.

(WATERGATE, HIPPERHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Watergate from its junction with Halifax Road to 1 Tanhouse View for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. Access will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 10:00.

(CHURCH LANE, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Church Lane from its junction with Lower Edge Road to 47 Church Lane for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th January 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HEATH HILL ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Heath Hill Road from No. 20 to No. 24 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Heath Hill Road, Moor End Road, Sandbeds Road, Highroad Well Lane, Roils Head Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th January 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(AACHEN WAY, KING CROSS)

IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Aachen Way adjacent to Hawthorn Street for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 24th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 23:30 & 06:00.
