ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BOLTON ROAD, HAWKSHAW, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:- Bolton Road, Hawkshaw, Bury - from a point 25 m west of Croich Bank for a distance of 20 m in a westerly direction The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate manhole cover and frame repairs. The alternative route will be via Turton Road, Chapel Street & Holcombe Road & vice-versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Thursday 11 January 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 1 day, 7pm-10pm.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (SANDFORD STREET, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
SANDFORD STREET, RADCLIFFE - from Norman Street for 30 metres in a southerly direction
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate electricity works.
No alternative route, access maintained for residents
The Order comes into operation on 08/01/2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 7 days.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (PARSONS LANE, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
Parsons Lane, Bury - from a point 35m west of its junction with John Street for a distance of 20m in a westerly direction (outside ATS Euromaster) The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate contractors carrying out water valve repair work.
There is no alternative route (no through road).
The Order will come into operation on Sunday 07 January 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 1 day.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (HENRY STREET, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:- Henry Street, Prestwich - from its junction with Bury Old Road for a distance of 35 metres in a south-westerly direction (to the rear of the car park to Singleton House) The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate the rebuilding of a damaged wall. The alternative route will be via Hastings Road, Orange Hill Road & Bury Old Road & vice-versa. Vehicle/pedestrian access to the front of Singleton House to be maintained.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 15 January 2024 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 18 weeks.
