What is happening?

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Willow Drove, Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-352

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Willow Drove, as lies between Thorney Road, Newborough and no 4 Willow Drove. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order. The proposed order will come into force on the 08/01/2024 and will continue until the remedial works in the carriageway have been completed or until the 07/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 08/01/2024 and the 10/01/2024. The City of Peterborough King Street, Helpston, Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-362

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Lolham Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 06/01/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 05/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:05hrs and  08:50hrs from the 06/01/2024 to the 07/01/2024. BR2

The City of Peterborough Suttons Lane, Deeping Gate, Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-363

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Suttons Lane, Deeping Gate, as lies between Lincoln Road and Deeping St James Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Suttons Lane, Lincoln Rd, Bridge Foot, Market Place, High St, Bridge St, Deeping St James Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 08/01/2024 and will continue until the telecoms cabling works have been completed or until the 07/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 08/01/2024 and the 12/01/2024. The City of Peterborough Castle Drive, Northborough, Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-365

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Castle Drive, Northborough, as lies between St Andrews Road and Church View. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: St Andrews Rd, Granville Ave and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 09/01/2024 and will continue until the communication pipe repair works have been completed or until the 08/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 09/01/2024 and the 11/01/2024. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs from the 08/01/2024 to the  15/01/2024. Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Tresham Road Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-378

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Tresham Road, outside 1, 4, 17 and 34. Only one location will be closed at a time. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is within Tresham Road in the opposite direction. The proposed order will come into force on the 15/01/2024 and will continue until the installation of speed cushions has been completed or until the 14/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 15/01/2024 and the 26/01/2024. The City of Peterborough English Drove, Thorney, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-379

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as English Drove, Thorney, as lies between The Concrete Company and Lime Tree Farm. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is Crowland Rd, French Drove, New Cut, English Drove and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 15/01/2024 and will continue until the installation of new strategic pipeline works have been completed or until the 14/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 15/01/2024 and the 26/01/2024.
