RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd Di-Ddosbarth a adwaenir fel Copperhill Street, Aberdyfi o bwynt ger ei gyffordd gyda’r A493 gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd orllewinol am oddeutu 25 metr. Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith gosod sgaffaldiau. Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol ar y Ffordd rhwng New Street a Copperhill Steet. Trowch i’r dde yn y gyffordd gyda New Street i ddilyn y ffordd hon hyd at y gyffordd gyda’r A493. Trowch i’r dde i deithio ar yr A493 mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 29ain o Ionawr, 2024 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 14 diwrnod.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL (CLOSURE OF THE UNCLASSIFIED ROAD KNOWN AS COPPERHILL STREET, ABERDOVEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Unclassified Road known as Copperhill Street, Aberdovey from a point by its junction with the A493 travelling in a north westerly direction for approximately 25 metres. The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during scaffolding works. The alternative route is to travel in a north easterly direction on the Road between Copperhill Street and New Street. Turn right at the junction with New Street to follow this road up to the junction with the A493. Turn right to travel on the A493 in a south westerly direction up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents. The Order comes into effect on the 29th of January, 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 14 days.
