Avenue Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL AVENUE ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works to be executed on or near Avenue Road, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Avenue Road from a point outside No.38 Avenue Road to a point outside No.46 Avenue Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Avenue Road (unaffected section), Parkside Road, New Cross Street and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 06:00 hours on the 9th January 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 9th January 2024 and then again at 06:00 hours on the 16th January 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 on the 16th January 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
