GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS TOWNS AND PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works. The roads are expected to be closed from 8h January 2024, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed on 31st October 2024 or until the works are completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401475 ROSEBERY ROAD (DURSLEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401475 Rosebery Road from its junction with Stanthill Drive to outside the property known as 38A for an approximate distance of 222 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for fibre optic cable installation works. The said road is expected to be closed from 8th January 2024 until 19th January 2024 or until the said works are completed. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE 401520 ABBEY STREET (KINGSWOOD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401250 Abbey Street from its junction with Old Rectory Road to its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 66 metres.

The reason for the closure is for Severn Trent works

The said road is expected to be closed from 6th January 2024 until 7th January 2024

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE C259 A38 JUNCTION TO RAILWAY BRIDGE (ALKINGTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C259 A38 junction to Railway Bridge from its junction with A38 to Crossways junction for a distance of approximately 590 metres. The reason for the closure is for Fibre works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401484 HOLYWELL ROAD (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401484 Holywell Road from outside of the property known as No. 8 Holywell Road to its junction with Holywell Road to The Square for a distance of approximately 60 metres. The reason for the closure is for Severn Trent works to be carried out. The road is expected to be closed from 8th January 2024 to 10th January 2024 only. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE 401416 DRAKE LANE TO COLDHARBOUR FARM (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401416 Drake Lane to Coldharbour Farm including its footway from its junction with Drake Lane to outside the property known as Coldharbour Farm for a distance of approximately 745 metres. The reason for the closure is for Pole testing works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C283 LAMPERN HILL (ULEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C283 Lampern Hill from its junction with Uley Road to outside the property known as Stouts Hill Cottage for a distance of approximately 120 metres. The reason for the closure is to enable works to take place on the underground structure. The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs from 10th January 2024 to 12th January 2024 only.
