Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62401 Otherton Lane from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road for a distance of 190 metres in a southerly direction..

Proposed Order: To close that part of U43412 Stockwood Lane from its junction with C2051 Withybed Lane to its junction with U43427 Windmill Lane.
Reason: Replacement water main by Severn Trent Water.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50201 Eliot Road from its junction with U50207 Longfellow Road for the entire length.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U51010 Vigornia Avenue from its junction with U51007 Gillam Street to its junction with U51009 Mayfield Avenue.
Reason: To replace street lighting column by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2027 Old Malvern Road from its junction with C2027 Collets Green Road to its junction with A449 Malvern Road.
Reason: Tree Maintenance by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Malvern Road, U62022 Old Malvern Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 25 January 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Disabled Persons' Parking Place on Victoria Avenue, Wylds Lane and Laurel Road, Worcester]
On 21 December 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking place on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester-Victoria Avenue - Northeast side: From a point 134 metres northwest of its junction with Wylds Lane for a distance of 6.6 metres and from a point 230 metres northwest of the said junction for a distance of 6.6 metres both in a north westerly direction.
Worcester-Victoria Avenue - Northeast side:
Wylds Lane - Southwest side: From a point 77 metres northwest of the centrepoint markings of its junction with Perry Wood Walk for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north westerly direction.
Laurel Road - West side: From a point 44 metres south of its junction with Sycamore Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a southerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 11 January 2024. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
