Winchester Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Works On The Road
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - A272 WINCHESTER ROAD, FROXFIELD, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A272 Winchester Road between its junction with Church Hill and its junction with Headdon Copse Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
A272, A32, A31, A325, A3, A272DURATION OF ORDER: from 4th January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day between the hours 09:00 -15:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
