What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD & FOOTPATH CLOSURE -TEMPEST AVENUE/ PRINCE OF WALES CLOSE FOOTPATH, WATERLOOVILLE, HAVANT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Tempest Avenue between its junction with Riverdale Avenue and its junction with Royal Way.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stratford Road, Ferndale, B2150

FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Prince of Wales Close Footpath between its junction with Tempest Avenue and Prince of Wales Close.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Royal Way, Tempest Avenue

DURATION OF ORDER: from 2nd January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 27 days, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
