Longedge Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LONGEDGE LANE, WINGERWORTH
WHEN: 8th January 2024 to 10th January 2024
WHERE: Longedge Lane, Wingerworth between a point 100 metres south of its junction with Michael Close for a distance of 60 metres in a Southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate water apparatus installation works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Longedge Lane (from point of closure), A61 Derby Road, Nethermoor Road, New Road, Longedge Lane, Lodge Drive, Longedge Lane (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
