What is happening?

FOOTPATH CLOSURE EXTENSION
PUBLIC FOOTPATH (PART) NO.51 BUXTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the order made by Derbyshire County Council on 6th July 2023 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close public footpath No.51 from 80 metres southwest of the A515 and around Foxlow Farm for 400 metres, has been further continued.
Alternative route: From the east, follow the fencing around the southern side of the site to the south side of Foxlow Farm. Vice versa from the west.
The Public Footpath will be closed until 8th July 2024 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to facilitate public safety during construction works.
Derbyshire County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the closure. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
