B1337 GRANGEMOOR ROAD WIDDRINGTON STATION
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1337 Grangemoor Road Widdrington Station from 42 metres east of its junction with Ena Street continuing east for a length of 42 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th January 2024 until the 21st January 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th January 2024 until the 21st January 2024 between the hours of 23:15 until 08:35 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1337, A1068, A197, B1337 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management on behalf of Network Rail for re-railing level crossing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
