Kent, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

GRAVESHAM AREA

B256 WEST STREET, GRAVESEND, DA11 0DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B256 West Street, Gravesend, on or after 8th January 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Flat 46 The Maltings.

The alternative route is via Stuart Road, Clifton Road, A226 Bath Street and Church Street, Princes Street, Stone Street, Clive Road, Barrack Row, A226 Darnley Road/Bath Street, Clifton Road, Stuart Road.

ALFRED ROAD, GRAVESEND, DA12 5AH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Alfred Road, Gravesend, on or after 8th January 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Mead Road.

The alternative route is via Alfred Road, Cross Lane West, Singlewell Road and vice versa.
