MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE

What is happening?

Cyngor Sir Fynwy Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Adran 14 - Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984  Cyngor Sir Fynwy (Heol Twyn-Y-Sherriff, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy)  Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro 2024
Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984: 
1.  Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 2ail Ionawr 2024 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. 
2.  Bydd y Gorchymyn hwn yn parhau i bob pwrpas â darpariaethau Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Brys 2023Heol Twyn-Y-Sherriff, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy a gyhoeddwyd ar 12fed Rhagfyr 2023. 
3.  Roedd angen y Gorchymyn am resymau diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd Llyncdwll yn yr ardal 
4.  Effaith y rhybudd fydd cau dros dro ran o  Heol Twyn-Y-Sherriff, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy, ~90m o'r gyffordd gyda Heol Llanvecha am ~100m. 
5.  Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Twyn-Y-Sherriff, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy, 2024. 
6.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Monmouthshire County Council Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice Section 14 - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  Monmouthshire County Council (Twyn-Y-Sherriff Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire)  Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024
Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order: 
1.  The Order shall come into operation on the 2nd January 2024 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.  
2.  This order will continue in effect the provisions of the Twyn.Y-Sherriff Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire Emergency Traffic Regulation Notice 2023 as issued on 12th December 2023. 
3.  The order was necessary for the reasons of public safety due to a Sink Hole in the area. 
4.  The effect of the notice will be to temporarily close a section of Twyn-Y-Sherriff Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire, ~90m from its junction with Llanvecha Road for ~100m 
5.  This order may be cited as Twyn-Y-Sherriff Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024. 
6.  By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
