A580 East Lancashire Road - Suspension Of Bus Lanes Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford made Salford City Council (A580 East Lancashire Road, Salford) (Suspension Of Bus Lanes) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Order will temporarily introduce the following restrictions. Bus Lane Suspension of: A580 East Lancashire Road bus lanes closures and suspensions, between the junctions of Worsley Road and Lancaster Road in both directions.
The bus lane closure and suspensions are required as part of the junction improvement scheme. The suspensions of the bus lane will allow normal traffic to use the bus lanes when necessary. The order is due to come into operation on the 8th January 2024 and will last for a period of 25 weeks. A copy of the Order and plans of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
