ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING, ROAD CLOSURE AND ONE-WAY RESTRICTION (WESTBOUND)) (VICARAGE ROAD, AMBLECOTE) ORDER 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make a temporary Order to facilitate CARRIAGEWAY RECONSTRUCTION WORKS on VICARAGE ROAD, AMBLECOTE. The effects of which will be to prohibit, on VICARAGE ROAD, AMBLECOTE, from the junction of Hillfields Road Island to the junction of High Street, Amblecote, at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed: - (a) the waiting, loading, or unloading vehicles, for the duration of the Order; (b) all vehicles from entering or proceeding in either direction on the affected road on Sunday 21st January 2024 and Sunday 28th January 2024, from 08:00am until 16:00pm each day; (c) all vehicles from proceeding in an eastbound direction (uphill) on Thursday 18th January until Friday 19th January 2024, and on Monday 22nd January until Friday 26th January 2024, from 09:30am until 15:30pm each day. The Order will remain valid for a maximum duration of 18 months to allow for unexpected events, or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. Hillfields Road Island – Sunday 21/01/2024 and 28/01/2024 only All vehicular traffic will be diverted via: Hillfields Road, Stamford Road, Amblecote Road, Delph Road, Brettell Lane, High Street. High Street Amblecote - Northbound All northbound vehicular traffic will be diverted via: High Street, Brettell Lane, Delph Road, Amblecote Road, Stamford Road, Hillfields Road, Vicarage Road. High Street Amblecote - Southbound All southbound vehicular traffic will be diverted via: High Street, St Johns Road, Birmingham Street, Stourbridge Road, Lye By Pass, Dudley Road, Thorns Road, Mount Pleasant, Amblecote Road, Stamford Road, Hillfields Road, Vicarage Road. Access to be maintained for works vehicles, emergency services and access to properties, where it is safe to do so.
