(C2079 School Road, Hanbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of C2079 School Road from its junction with C2148 Astwood Lane to its junction with B4091 Hanbury Road.

Reason: Utility Works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4091 Hanbury Road, B4090 Droitwich Road, C2079 School Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 4 January 2024.

(C2039 Frankley Hill Lane, Frankley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of C2039 Frankley Hill Lane from its junction with U20652 Pound Lane to its junction with C2285 New Street.

Reason: Replacement water mains by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2285 New Street, C2039 Egghill Lane into Birmingham, C2039 Frankley Hill Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 8 January 2024.

(U21537 Hinton Fields, Catshill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21537 Hinton Fields from its junction with U21538 Dale Close for a distance of 140 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Safe working for pole replacement by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21537 Hinton Fields, C2062 Rocky Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 January 2024.

(U20200 Yew Tree Lane, Fairfield) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of U20200 Yew Tree Lane from its junction with U20009 Bournheath Road to its junction with B4091 Stourbridge Road.

Reason: Utility works by Network Plus.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20009 Bournheath Road, U20201 Bournheath Road, B4091 Stourbridge Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 8 January 2024.

(Link Footpath F40876 Park Way (side No 18) to Westacre, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F40876 Park Way (side No 18) to Westacre from its junction with South end of structure Bridge number BR7555 to its junction with North end of structure Bridge number BR7555.

Reason: Bridge reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Southbound on unnamed canal footpath, U41720 Briar Mill, Link Footpath F40088 Leigh Grove, Link Footpath F40950 running alongside the canal front and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 153 days (24hrs). Commencing: 8 January 2024.

(C2156 Shernal Green, Himbleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of C2156 Shernal Green from its junction with U42215 Middle Lane for a distance of 300 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2156 Hay Lane, C2080 Goosehill Lane, C2080 Shaftland Cross to Phepson, C2154 Dunhampstead to Himbleton Road, C2077 Trench Lane, C2156 Captains Lane and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: B4091 Hanbury Road from its junction with C2079 Forest Lane to its junction with U42001 Court Close. Closure 2: U42004 Pumphouse Lane from its junction with B4091 Hanbury Road for a distance of 80 metres in a Westerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(Link Footpath F40050 Valley Walk & Footbridge BR7638 Little Hill Court to Briar Mill, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F40050 Valley Walk & Footbridge BR7638 Little Hill Court to Briar Mill from its junction with canal towpath on north side of canal bank to its junction with Link Footpath F40050 Valley Walk.

Reason: Removal and installation of new bridge by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F40050 Valley Walk (adjacent to south bank of canal), Link Footpath F40052 Valley Walk to Valley Way (side no 15), U41651 Valley Way, Link Footpath F40051 Valley Way (fronting nos 17 to 29), Link Footpath F40051 Little Hill Court (fronting nos 2 to 6), Link Footpath F40050 Valley Walk, temporary crossing point onto north bank of canal towpath, canal towpath on north side of canal and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of U20475 Field Lane from its junction with A491 Stourbridge Road to its junction with C2003 Bromsgrove Road.

Reason: Carriageway overlay by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Anti-Clockwise: C2003 Bromsgrove Road, A456 Kidderminster Road, A491 Stourbridge Road. Clockwise: A491 Stourbridge Road, C2163 Walton Pool Lane, C2163 Odnall Lane, C2163 Woodman Lane, C2003 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

(U20005 Woodland Road, Dodford with Grafton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20005 Woodland Road from its junction with U20007 Warbage Lane for the entire length.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20007 Warbage Lane, U20006 Victoria Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 29 January 2024 and 12 February 2024.

(U20006 Victoria Road, Dodford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20006 Victoria Road from its junction with U20005 Woodland Road to its junction with U20007 Warbage Lane.

Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20007 Warbage Lane, U20005 Woodland Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 31 January 2024 and 14 February 2024.

(U40207 C2141 Owl Hill Lane/U40207 Comhampton Lane, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: C2141 Owlhill Lane from its junction with A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak to its junction with C2152 Lineholt Lane. Closure 2: U40207 Comhampton Lane from its junction with C2141 Owlhill Lane for a distance of 75 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Poletesting by Openreach.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Closure 1: C2141 Owlhill Lane - C2152 Lineholt Lane, C2152 Woodfield Lane, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak and vice versa. Diversion Closure 2 - U40207 Comhampton Lane - U40207 Comhampton Lane, C2142 Bishops Wood Road, C2141 Owlhill Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 10 January 2024.

(U21000 Whitford Road & U20999 Sunningdale Road (Footway), Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: U21000 Whitford Road from its junction with U21015 Millfield Road to its junction with U20001 Timberhonger Lane.

Closure 2: U20999 Sunningdale Road (Footway only) from its junction with U21000 Whitford Road for a distance of 50 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: New development works - Phase 1 for installation of utilities by Cadent Gas/National Grid/Eon/ MV Kelly Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21000 Whitford Road, A448 Kidderminster Road, B4091 Hanover Street, B4091 Worcester Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 35 days. Commencing: 8 January 2024.

NB: Phase 2 works from 17 February to 22 March 2024.

Phase 3 works from 6 April to 6 May 2024
