TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC NORTHCHURCH 39

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, cyclists and vehicles from using that length of Byway Open to All Traffic Northchurch 39, heading north westwards to a point 15 metres north westwards, for an approximate distance of 20m.

Alternative route: via Berkhamsted 23, Berkhamsted 22 & Northchurch 45 The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.

The section of Byway Open to All Traffic will be closed on or after 10 January 2024 for up to 2 days, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FELDEN LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Felden Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point in line with the northern boundary of ‘Tawney Grange’ south eastwards for a distance of approximately 24m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Felden Lane, A4251 London Road, Featherbed Lane and Felden Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE A41 EASTBOUND ONTO THE EASTBOUND CARRIAGEWAY OF A41 (UNNAMED ROAD), WIGGINTON) ORDER 2024

SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO A41 TRING INTERCHANGE AND THE A41 EASTBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1.   the A41 eastbound slip road leading onto A41 Tring Interchange, Wigginton from its junction with the eastbound carriageway of A41 Tring Bypass north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with A41 Tring Interchange, a distance of approximately 447m.

An alternative route will be via A41 (Tring Interchange/unnamed road), A416 Chesham Road and A41 (unnamed road/ Tring Interchange).

2.   the A41 eastbound slip road leading onto the eastbound carriageway of A41 (unnamed road), Wigginton from its junction with A41 Tring Interchange south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 385m.

An alternative route will be via A41 (Tring Interchange/Tring Bypass), B4635 Icknield Way and A41 (Tring Bypass/unnamed road).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS  IN B4009 TRING HILL, TRING) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council, acting as agents for and with the consent of Buckinghamshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B4009 Tring Hill, Tring from its junction with the A41 Tring Bypass/ B4635 Icknield way roundabout north westwards to its junction with B4009 Upper Icknield Way, a distance of approximately 775m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via A41 (unnamed road/Aston Clinton Road/Tring Road/High Street/

Exchange Street), A413 (Walton Street/Wendover Road) and B4009 (Aylesbury Road/Tring Road/ Upper Icknield Way)

or via B1004 (Upper Icknield Way/Tring Road/Aylesbury Road), A413 (Wendover Road/ Stoke Road/ Walton Street) and A41 (Exchange Street/High Street/Tring Road/Aston Clinton Road/unnamed road).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF IVY HOUSE LANE, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ivy House Lane, Berkhamsted from its junction with Bank Mill south westwards for a distance of approximately 53m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Bank Mill, Bank Mill Lane, A4251 (London Road/High Street), Ravens Lane, Gravel Path, George Street and Ivy House Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN GRAEMESDYKE ROAD/ DOCTORS COMMONS ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Graemesdyke Road/Doctors Commons Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Charles Street south westwards to its junction with Cross Oak Road, a distance of approximately 789m (“the length of Roads”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Charles Street and Cross Oak Road.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Roads whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bridgewater Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Brownlow Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 145m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Brownlow Road, Castle Hill, Murray Road and Bridgewater Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Featherbed Lane, Felden Lane, A4251 London Road and Featherbed Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Vicarage Lane, A4251 (Hempstead Road/London Road), B4505 (Box Lane/Hempstead Road), High Street, Chipperfield Road, Tower Hill, Chapel Croft, Langley Road, Chipperfield Road and Vicarage Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS  IN VARIOUS ROADS IN TRING) ORDER NO.2 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1.   that length of B4635 High Street, Tring from its junction with Christchurch Road north eastwards to its junction with the B486 Brook Street roundabout, a distance of approximately 558m. An alternative route will be via B4635 (Western Road/Aylesbury Road), A41 Tring Bypass and B4635 London Road.

2.  that length of Frogmore Street, Tring from its junction with Friars Walk south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with B4635 High Street, a distance of approximately 178m. An alternative route will be via Frogmore Street, Dundale Road, B488 Icknield Way, Christchurch Road and B4635 High Street.

3.    that length of Akeman Street, Tring from its junction with B4635 High Street south westwards to its junction with Harrow Yard, a distance of approximately 92m.

An alternative route will be via B4635 High Street, Langdon Street, Park Street and Akeman Street.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF TOMS HILL ROAD, ALDBURY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Toms Hill Road, Aldbury from its junction with Stocks Road south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 400m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Station Road, Cow Lane, A4251 (Tring Road/High Street), B4506 New Road, Kiln Road and Toms Hill Road.

The Order is needed because drainage works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HEMEL HEMPSTEAD PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.071) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Hemel Hempstead Public Footpath No.071 from a point 199m south west of its junction with Belswains Lane north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 35m (“the Public Footpath”). There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this public footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 January 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Chesham Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with the A416 Kingshill Way/A416 Chesham Road roundabout north eastwards for a distance of approximately 23m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via A416 (Kingshill Way/Kings Road), A4251 High Street, Three Close Lane, Hilltop Road and Chesham Road.

The Order is needed because water repair and maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bunkers Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point 233m south westwards of its junction with Bedmond Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 73m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Bunkers Lane, Bedmond Road, A4147 (Leverstock Green Road/ Leverstock Green Way), A414 (St Albans Road/Lawn Lane) Belswains Lane and Bunkers Lane.

The Order is needed because water service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 January 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on ornear the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A4146 Station Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with the A4251 London Road roundabout north eastwards to its junction with Heath Lane, a distance of approximately 313m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via A4251 London Road, A414 (Two Waters Way/Two Waters Road) and A4146 Station Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
