What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(MANOR ROAD, CADDINGTON AND SLIP END)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Manor Road, Caddington and Slip End.

This temporary closure is required to enable vegetation clearance works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 22 to 26 January 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Woodside Road, Mancroft Road, Dunstable Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 22 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(STREATLEY ROAD, SUNDON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Streatley Road, Sundon outside The Old Granary.

This temporary closure is required to enable drainage works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 22 to 26 January 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Manor Road, Church Road, Harlington Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 22 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(LUTON ROAD, DUNSTABLE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Luton Road, Dunstable between Ridgeway Avenue and the Roundabout with Poynters Road. This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 22 to 26 January 2024 between the hours of 8pm and 5am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Boscombe Road, Porz Avenue, Poynters Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 22 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(CHURCH ROAD, HARLINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Church Road, Harlington. This temporary closure is required to enable gully cleansing works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 8 to 12 January 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Barton Road, Harlington Road, B655, A6, A507, A5120, Toddington Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 8 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(CHURCH ROAD, STUDHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire

Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Church Road, Studham outside number 28.

This temporary closure is required to enable water mains maintenance works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 10 to 12 January 2024. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Clements End Road, Common Road, Valley Road, Church Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 10 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Lay By A5120 West, Toddington.

This temporary closure is required to enable ditch clearance works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 10 to 12 January 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

The Order will come into operation on 10 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Millfield Lane, Caddington.

This temporary closure is required to enable tree felling works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 8 to 12 January 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Dunstable Road, Mancroft Road, Pipers Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 8 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(HIGH STREET SOUTH, DUNSTABLE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street South, Dunstable between The Little Theatre and King Street.

This temporary closure is required to enable footway resurfacing works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 8 to 17 January 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via High Street South.

The Order will come into operation on 8 January 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
