NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Roads Within Crewe
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – West Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Ford Lane, Crewe – For its full extent.
Ramsbottom Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Derby Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Goddard Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Vernon Way, Crewe – For its full extent.
Earle Street, Crewe – For its full extent.

This order will come into operation on Monday 29 January 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 15 March 2024.

Public Rights of Way Notices
The Cheshire East Borough Council (Public Footpath No. 7 (Part) Parish of Brindley) Public Path Diversion Order 2023
The above Order was made on the 14 December 2023, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order will be to divert that length of Public Footpath No.7 in the Parish of Brindley commencing at O.S. grid reference (OSGR) SJ 5840 5390 running in a generally east south easterly direction for approx.428m to OSGR SJ 5881 5380 to a new line commencing at OSGR SJ 5840 5390 and running in a generally easterly direction for approx.58m to OSGR SJ 5846 5390, then in a generally south easterly direction for approx.34m to OSGR SJ 5849 5389, then in a generally north easterly direction for approx.87m to OSGR SJ 5856 5394, then in a generally east south easterly direction for approx.69m to OSGR SJ 5863 5393 and then in a generally east north easterly direction for approx. 108m. to OSGR SJ 5873 5397.
Copies of the Order and the Plan may be obtained free of charge from the undersigned.
Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to prow@cheshireeast.gov.uk or the Director of Governance and Compliance, Cheshire East Council, Municipal Buildings, c/o Delamere House, Delamere Street, Crewe, CW1 2LL not later than 30 January 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Cheshire East Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
The Cheshire East Borough Council (Footpath No. 32 (Part) Town of Crewe) Public Path Diversion Order 2023
The above Order was made on the 14 December 2023, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the Order will be to divert the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 32 (Part) in the Town of Crewe, commencing at O. S. Grid Reference (OSGR) SJ 7097 5601 running in a generally north east direction for approx. 51m to OSGR SJ 7100 5604 to a new line commencing at OSGR SJ 7095 5599 and running in a generally north direction for approx. 17 m. to OSGR SJ 7095 5600, then in a generally east direction for approx. 45m to OSGR SJ 7099 5600 and then in a generally north north east direction for approx.38m to OSGR SJ 7100 5604.
