NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Roads, Poynton with Worth
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Bittern Close, Poynton with Worth – For the full extent.
Brent Close, Poynton with Worth – For the full extent.
Highfield Road, Poynton with Worth – For the full extent.
FW Dunlin Close to Highfield Road, Poynton with Worth – For the full extent.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Victoria Road, Macclesfield
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Victoria Road, Macclesfield – From the junction of Priory Lane to the junction of Home Farm Avenue.
The alternative route will be via Victoria Road, Prestbury Road, Cumberland Street Roundabout, Cumberland Street, Chester Road, Ivy Road Roundabout, Broken Cross, Broken Cross Roundabout, Fallibroome Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Wednesday 21 February 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 1 March 2024.
