Temporary Trafc Restriction Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being Market Street and Church Street for their entire lengths and Arwenack Street betwen the junctions of Church Street and Quay Hill, Falmouth.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Falmouth) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Market Street/Church Street/Arwenack Street (Class III) between its junctions with Killigrew Street and Quay Hill.
The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out electrical connection works.
The Order will come into operation on 29th January 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 9th February 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekdays only. Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to school buses, trafc associated with the works required within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st January 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Penponds. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th January 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road afected - Mill Road, Penponds for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Bolingey. This prohibition is necessary for sewer cleaning works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd February 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1700, weekdays only.
Road afected - Mill Road, Bolingey between grid reference SW76476 53283 and the property named The Old Post Ofce.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st January 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned lengths of road in Falmouth. This prohibition is necessary for sewer cleaning works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th January 2024 to 19th January 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.
Roads afected - North Parade between the junction of Falmouth Wharves and Tehidy Terrace, Tehidy Terrace and Stratton Terrace for their entire lengths, Falmouth.
