What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U4125 GOLDSMITH ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4125 Goldsmith Road, Ipswich in the followingphases:

1.U4125 Goldsmith Road, Ipswich from Thackeray Road to Spencer Road 2.U4125 Goldsmith Road, Ipswich from Bryon Road to Thackeray Road. This is to facilitate major gas replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be: I.Spenser Road and vice versa

2. Byron Road, Shakespeare Road, Spenser Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/01/2024 -29/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C464 WASHBROOK ROAD, HINTLESHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C464 Washbrook Road, Hinlesham from Lower Barn Road to Spring Road to facilitate access to underground telecommunications equipment. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Pigeons Lane, Swan Hill, the A1071

and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 03/01/2024 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Kelly Traffic Management. Tel: 02476 642814

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF

THE C760 KINGS ROAD, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C760 Kings Road, Bury St Edmunds from no. 150 for 30 metres westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be St Andrews Street South, the A143 and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a temporary suspension of one-way traffic on the C760 Kings Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Prospect Row to the junction with St Andrews Street South allow access and egress. It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/01/2024 -05/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 17, PEASENHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 17, Peasenhall from Badingham Road for 95 metres southbound for safety reasons due to the erosion of the riverbank. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. This order continues in force (he emergency measures operating since 13/12/2023

It is intended that the closure will operate until 12/06/2024, (or longer if extended by the Minister).
