Pyles Thome Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of Pyles Thome Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Pyles Thorne Road - from 49 metres north-west of the junction with Damson Crescent, north-westwards for a total distance of 70 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to cany out repair and maintenance works.
The Order becomes effective on 11th January 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th January 2024 and last until 16th January 2024 between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 2 days.
