TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH WATFORD RURAL 10
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Watford Rural 10, heading southwest from Prestwick Road Meadows, for an approximate distance of 180m.
Alternative Route: via Prestwick Road Meadows boundary Heysham Drive
The purpose of the Order is to enable development works to take place.
The section of Footpath Watford Rural 10 will be closed on or after 08 January 2024 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE A4008 BUSHEY ARCHES ROUNDABOUT, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the A4008 Bushey Arches roundabout, Watford from its junction with A411 Chalk Hill clockwise to its junction with A4125 Eastbury Road, a distance of approximately 51m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A411 Chalk Hill, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road/Oxhey Lane), A410 Uxbridge Road, A404 (Uxbridge Road/Pinner Green/Pinner Road/ Rickmansworth Road), A4125 (High Street/Church Road), B469 Green Lane and A4125 (Watford Road/Sandy Lane/Hampermill Lane/Eastbury Road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VILLIERS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Villiers Road, Watford from a point 35m north east of its junction with A4008 Pinner Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 10m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Villiers Road, A4008 Pinner Road, A411 Chalk Hill and Villiers Road or via Villiers Road, A411 Chalk Hill, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road) and Villiers Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOUDWATER LANE, LOUDWATER) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Loudwater Lane, Loudwater from a point 46m south east of its junction with Rooks Hill south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 200m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Loudwater Lane, The Green, A412 (Scots Hill/Park Road), A404 Chorleywood Road and Loudwater Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GROVE CRESCENT, CROXLEY GREEN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Grove Crescent, Croxley Green from its easternmost junction with Baldwins Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 90m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Baldwins Lane and Grove Crescent.
The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.3 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-
1. that length of Otterspool Way, Watford from its junction with A41 North Western Avenue south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 75m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, the A41 North Western Avenue/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, A41 North Western Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane, Park Avenue and Otterspool Way
or via Otterspool Way, Park Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane and A41 North Western Avenue.
2. that length of Woodmere Avenue, Watford from its junction with Colne Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 10m.
An alternative route will be via Woodmere Avenue, A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road, Bushey Mill Lane and Woodmere Avenue.
3. that length of Westlea Avenue/Meriden Way, Watford from its junction with the service road fronting Nos.1-7 Colne Way north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 100 m.
An alternative route will be via Westlea Avenue, A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, A412 St Albans Road, Garston Lane, The Gossamers, York Way and Meriden Way.
4. that length of Phillipers, Watford from its junction with York Way north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Bowmans Green, a distance of approximately 346m.
An alternative route will be via York Way, The Gossamers, Bowmans Green, Fairfolds and Phillipers.
5. that length of Douglas Avenue, Watford from its junction with Woodmere Avenue north westwards for a distance of approximately 5m.
An alternative route will be via Woodmere Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane, Hillrise Avenue and Douglas Avenue.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SOLESBRIDGE LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER NO.3 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Solesbridge Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Chess Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Solesbridge Lane, Sarratt Road, The Green, A412 (Scots Hill/Park Road), A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road) and Solesbridge Lane.
The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE GREEN, CROXLEY GREEN DURING THE 'ANNUAL NEW YEARS FIREWORKS DISPLAY') ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the lengths of Road"):-
1. that length of The Green, Croxley Green from its junction with Loudwater Lane south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with New Road, a distance of approximately 860m.
An alternative route will be via The Green, Baldwins Lane, Repton Way, Sherborne Way, Barton Way and New Road.
2. that length of The Green, Croxley Green from its junction with Baldwins Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 271m.
An alternative route will be via Baldwins Lane, Repton Way, Sherborne Way, Barton Way and New Road.
The Order is needed to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of the 'Annual New Years Fireworks Display'.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 31 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN WATER LANE, WATFORD/BUSHEY HALL ROAD, BUSHEY AND WATER LANE, WATFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Water Lane, Watford/Bushey Hall Road, Bushey from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Greatham Road, a distance of approximately 568m.
An alternative route will be via A411 (Beechen Grove/Lower High Street), A411 (Lower High Street/Chalk Hill), B462 Aldenham Road and Bushey Hall Road or via Bushey Hall Road, B462 Aldenham Road, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/ Waterfields Way), Lower High Street, A411 Exchange Road and A411 Beechen Grove.
2. that length of Water Lane, Watford from a point 114m north east of its junction with Lower Derby Road north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Watford Borough Public Footpath No.038, a distance of approximately 40m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Water Lane, Watford from a point 168 metres north east of its junction with Lower Derby Road north westwards for its entire length.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WATFORD BOROUGH PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.007) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Watford Borough Public Footpath No.007 from its junction with Sheepcot Drive north | westwards to its junction with the footpath/cycle track situated on the south side of A405 North Orbital Road ("the Public Footpath"), a distance of approximately 50m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Sheepcot Drive, the footway situated on the east side of Sheepcot Lane and the footpath/cycle track situated on the south side of A405 North Orbital Road.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 January 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Watford Heath, Watford from a point 30m south westwards of its southernmost junction with A4008 Pinner Road north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 70m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Watford Heath, A4008 Pinner Road and Watford Heath.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
