ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Station Road, Station Yard, Marys Terrace,

Railway Approach and Arragon Road Twickenham

(Reference 23/206)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Station Road, Station Yard, Marys Terrace, Railway Approach, and Arragon Road Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place:-

(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in lengths of Station Road, Station Yard, Marys Terrace, and Railway Approach.

(b) No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand on the following dates 03 January 2024 to 14 February 2024 in Arragon Road in the 5 bays opposite number 61.

3. The order will come into effect on 03 January 2024, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between 03 January 2024 and 14 June 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via adjacent streets, via (westbound) London Rd, King Street, Queens Road, and Holly Road, and (eastbound) Via Copthall Gardens, King Street, London Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure and Waiting Restrictions

Kneller Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to gas replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Kneller Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Kneller Road, Twickenham at its junction with Hounslow Road and waiting restrictions will be introduced in the roads detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. The order will come into effect on 02 January 2024, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between 02 January and 26 April 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following roads in the below table where there will be rolling suspensions in place.

5. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via nelson Road, Warren Road, Hounslow Road, Whitton Dene and vice versa.

6. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

7. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Banned Turn

Cole Park Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to gas replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Cole Park Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left from the A316 into Cole Park Road, and to introduce waiting restrictions as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. The order will come into effect on 02 January 2024, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between 02 January and 22 March 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Chertsey Road, London Road, Hill View Road and Cole Park Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Queens Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Queens Road, Teddington from its junction with Park Road A309 to a point outside number 145 Queens Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 10 January 2024, the works are anticipated to be in progress from between 22.00 on 10 January and 5.30 on 10 January 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Queens Road, Hampton Road, High Street, Wellington Road, South Road, Stanley Road, Broad Street, and Park Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Bus Lane Suspension

Eton Street, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Eton Street, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, the bus lane in Eton Street between a point outside and opposite the side of 18-24 Paradise Road shall be suspended the effect being that vehicular traffic shall be permitted to proceed in that length of bus lane.

3. The order will come into effect on 08 January 2024, the works are anticipated to be in progress from 08 January to 13 January 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate bridge inspection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Popes Grove, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait in Popes Grove, Twickenham from a point approximately 43m from the junction Orford Gardens southbound for a distance of 30m.

3. The order will come into effect on 10 January 2024, the works are anticipated to be in progress from between 21.00 on 10 January and 5.00 on 11 January 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Orford Gardens, Tower Road, Wellesley Road, Popes Avenue, and Popes Grove and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
