Faithfuls Drove, Temporary Road Closure Due To Works On The Road

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - FAITHFULS DROVE, HOUGHTON, TEST VALLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Faithfuls Drove between its junction with Houghton Road and continuing 225 Metres Northwest along Faithfuls Drove.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: NO DIVERSION ROUTE AVAILABLE, ACCESS FOR RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES ONLY

DURATION OF ORDER: from 10th January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks between the hours 0730-1700).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
