Burniston Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Burniston
Road, Scarborough, Order 2024, No. 4 We have made this Order to
prohibit any vehicle from using Burniston Road, Scarborough for a
temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 02/01/24 &
19/01/24, however the max duration of this Order is until 01/07/25 to cater
an unforeseen delays, due to works. The closure period will be indicated by
traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Swan Hill Road, Scarborough, Order
2024, No. 8 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using
Swan Hill Road, Scarborough between North Street and Sussex Street for a
temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 08/01/24 &
15/01/24, however the max duration of this Order is until 07/07/25 due to
Yorkshire Water works to excavate 2.8m in the c/way to repair damaged
network causing internal flooding. The closure period will be indicated by
traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where
