MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE

What is happening?

Cyngor Sir Fynwy Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Adran 14 - Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984  Cyngor Sir Fynwy (Heol Tytac, Llanfable, Sir Fynwy) Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro 2024  Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984: 
1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 9fed Ionawr 2024 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd i’r gwaith cael ei gwblhau  rhwng 9fed Ionawr 2024 a’r 11eg Ionawr 2024.      2.  Roedd angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu D.r Cymru i wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol/heolydd ar gau. 
3.  Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Tytac, Llanfable, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd gyda Heol Plough am ~1.30km. 
4.  Roedd yna lwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Heol Plough, Heol y Galchen, B4233 ac i’r gwrthwyneb. 
5.  Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Tytac, Llanfable, Sir Fynwy, 2024. 
6.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Monmouthshire County Council Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice Section 14 - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984   Monmouthshire County Council (Tytac Road, Llanvapley, Monmouthshire) Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2024 
Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 
1.  The Order came into operation on the 9th January 2024 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 9th January 2024 and 11th January 2024. 
2.  The order was necessary for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reason.able access will be maintained for properties fronting the af.fected lengths of road during the period of the closure. 
3.  The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Tytac Road, Llanvapley, Monmouthshire , from its junc.tion with Plough Road for ~1.30km. 
4.  A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:-Plough Road, Galchen Road, B4233 and vice versa. 
5.  This order may be cited as the Tytac Road, Llanvapley, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024 
6.  By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition im.posed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
