What is happening?

TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME, LIMITED WAITING WITH NO RETURN & APPOINTMENT OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE STAND – OLD LYNCHFORD ROAD, FARNBOROUGH, RUSHMOOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

No waiting at any time:

• Old Lynchford Road (north side), from a point 24.5 metres west of its junction with Camp Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 54.5 metres.

• Old Lynchford Road (north side), from a point 57 metres east of its junction with Camp Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 35 metres.

Limited waiting for 1 hour with no return within 1 hour - between 8am and 6pm:

• Old Lynchford Road (south side), from a point 31 metres west of its junction with Camp Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 48 metres.

• Old Lynchford Road (south side), from a point 57 metres east of its junction with Camp Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 35 metres.

Limited waiting for 1 hour with no return within 1 hour - between 8am and 6pm for motorcycles only:

• Old Lynchford Road (south side), from a point 24.5 metres west of its junction with Camp Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 6.5 metres.

Appointed Hackney Carriage Stand:

• Old Lynchford Road (south side), from a point 96 metres west of its junction with Camp Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 19 metres.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 8th January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the restrictions will be required for the entire duration of the order).

All existing parking restrictions within these specific areas created by by-law and/or appointed by the Council, existing before the date of this Temporary Traffic Regulation Order are hereby suspended.
