What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – SHAKESPEARE ROAD, BOYATT WOOD, EASTLEIGH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Shakespeare Road between its junction with Selborne Drive and its junction with Ruskin Road, with access only between its junction with Woodside Avenue and its junction with A335 Twyford Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Woodside Avenue, A335
DURATION OF ORDER: from 8th January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day between the hours 09:30 – 14:30).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
