MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC
REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) Notice is hereby given that the
City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date
of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic
Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC136650229: The City of Manchester
(Various Streets, Charlestown Ward) (Temporary Prohibition
of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit
vehicular traffic on Blandford Drive, Bossall Avenue, Bourne
Drive, Claife Avenue, Dugdale Avenue, Edgefield Avenue,
Elaine Avenue, Fay Avenue, Glencar Drive, Glenwyn Avenue,
Manton Avenue, Middlegate, Pilkington Road, Rudston Avenue,
Tomlinson Street, Charlestown Ward. The alternative routes for
traffic will be: Signed Locally. The City Council is satisfied that
this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Carriageway
Resurfacing. It is expected that the works will be in progress
from 9th January 2024 to 24th January 2024. The order shall
come into operation on 9th January 2024 and may remain in
force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary
works are completed within a shorter period, the Order
shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.

The City of Manchester (Lentmead Drive, Moston Ward)
(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under
s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of
the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Lentmead Drive
from Carill Avenue to its cul-de-sac end. The City Council
is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to
facilitate telecommunications pole. It is expected that
the works will be in progress from 11th January 2024 to
11th January 2024. The order shall come into operation on
11th January 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum
period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed
within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at
the end of that shorter period. Dated: 29th December 2023.
ORDER NO. MCC136774401: The City of Manchester (Gartside
Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular
Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to restrict traffic on
Gartside Street between Bridge Street and New Court Street.
The alternative routes for traffic will be: Bridge Street
West, New Bailey Street, Chapel Street, Trinity Way, Irwell
Street, New Quay Street & Bridge Street, Deansgate, Quay
Street. The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is
necessary in order to facilitate a crane. It is expected that the
works will be in progress between 13th January 2024 and
14th January 2024 with back-up dates of each weekend
until 10th and 11th February 2024. The order shall come into
operation on 13th January 2024 and may remain in force for
a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works
are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease
