SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

AURELIA ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate manhole chamber construction works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Aurelia Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Aurelia Road between its junction with Lavender Road and the common boundary of Nos. 83 and 85 Aurelia Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Lavender Road, Thornton Avenue, Thornton Road, Shamrock Road, and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 08 January 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 25 January 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BUCKLEIGH WAY, UPPER NORWOOD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water connection on behalf of Thames Water they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Buckleigh Way.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Buckleigh Way will be closed between its junction with Stambourne Way and the common boundary of Nos. 3 and 4 Buckleigh Way.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force access for residents will be maintained.

4. The Order will come into operation on 09 January 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CLARENDON ROAD, HANDCROFT ROAD,

PARSONS MEAD CROYDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate electric cable laying works to improve electric vehicle charging facilities at Thornton Heath Bus Garage, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Clarendon Road, Handcraft Road and Parsons Mead, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

(a) Clarendon Road, Handcraft Road and Parsons Mead will be closed during the periods shown in the Schedule to this notice.

(b) Parking bays in the above roads will be suspended in sections as work progresses.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below. Residents' access will be maintained.

• Clarendon Road closure.

• Southern end via Pitlake and Derby Road.

• Northern end via Derby Road.

• Cyclists to divert along Derby Road into Pitlake.

• Parsons Mead - via Derby Road, Pitlake, Factory Lane, Mitcham Road, and Sumner Road, or via Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, and Derby Road.

• Handcraft Road (Parsons Mead to Sumner Road section) - via Parsons Mead, Derby Road, Pitlake, Factory Lane, Mitcham Road, and Sumner Road, or via Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, and Derby Road.

• Handcraft Road (Sumner Road to Dennett Road section) -via Sumner Road and London Road, or via Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, and Dennett Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 08 January 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 17 March 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

MERSHAM ROAD, THORNTON HEATH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Openreach duct laying works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Mersham Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking will be suspended on both sides of Mersham Road outside Nos. 123 to 143 and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.

3. The Order will come into operation on 09 January 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 12 January 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(b) any vehicle being used to carry out the said works.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE CHASE, COULSDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in The Chase, Coulsdon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place The Chase will be closed outside No. 1 The Chase.

3. The Order will come into operation on 10 January 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed in one day. A back-up date of 17 January 2024 will apply if the work is delayed.

4. The Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
