MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE

What is happening?

Cyngor Sir Fynwy Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Adran 14 - Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984  Cyngor Sir Fynwy (Heol Gwndy, Carrow Hill, Sir Fynwy) Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro 2023  Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984: 
1.  Daw y Gorchymyn i rym ar 15fed Rhagfyr 2023 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. 
2.  Bydd y Gorchymyn hwn yn parhau i bob pwrpas â darpariaethau Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Brys 2023 Heol Gwndy, Carrow Hill, Sir Fynwy a gyhoeddwyd ar 24ain Tachwedd 2023. 
3.  Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol am resymau diogelwch cyhoeddus oherwydd Tirlithriad yn yr ardal. 
4.  Effaith yr Hysbysiad fydd cau dros dro ran o Heol Gwndy, Carrow Hill, Sir Fynwy, o’i chyffordd â Heol Carrow am ~115m i gyfeiriad y de. 
5.  Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Brys 2023 Heol Gwndy, Carrow Hill, Sir Fynwy 2023. 
6.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.  Dyddiad: 20fed Rhagfyr 2023  Mark Hand Pennaeth Creu Lleoedd, Adfywio, Priffyrdd a Llifogydd    Cyngor Sir Fynwy Blwch SP 106 Cil-y-coed Sir Fynwy NP26 9AN 
Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice Section 14 - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  Monmouthshire County Council (Undy Road, Carrow Hill, Monmouthshire) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023 
Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order: 
1.  The Order shall come into operation on the 15th December 2023 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.  
2.  This order will continue in effect the provisions of the Undy Road, Carrow Hill, Monmouthshire Emergency Traffic Regulation Notice 2023 as issued on 24th November 2023. 
3.  The order was necessary for the reasons of public safety due to a Land Slip in the area. 
4.  The effect of the notice will be to temporarily close a section of Undy Road, Carrow Hill, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Carrow Road for ~115m in a southerly direction 
5.  This order may be cited as Undy Road, Carrow Hill, Mon.mouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023. 
6.  By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition im.posed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
