(Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that on the 21st day of December
2023 Somerset Council made the above Order in exercise
of the provisions of Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the
14th day of December 2023, to introduce temporary traffic
restrictions on the roads specified in the Schedules below.
This Order will come into operation on the 28th day of
December 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen
months. The Works are expected to commence on the 3rd
day of January 2024 until the 5th day of April 2024 (between
0800 hours and 1630 hours) to enable Wales and West
Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works. The
restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

information on the alternative route. Please note that
should you require to view a closure which is more than
two weeks ahead you will need to Register for free with
