Essex County Council

(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.29) Order 202* (Various Roads, (Hatfield Grove Estate), Braintree), (20mph Zone) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53, 84(1)(a) and 2, and Parts IV and III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the orders:

1. To Implement: 'No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am-9.30am and 4.30pm-6.30pm: (Single Yellow Line) restrictions:

Road - Description

Old Dairy Approach - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Station Road, north to its end at the Hatfield Peverel station car park (including turning head), and south-westwards to its junction with Agar Place.

Agar Place - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with the private drive to properties in Rayleigh Court/Agar Place, south-eastwards to its end (including turning head).

Friesian Way - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with The (Pastures to its junction with Arla Mews.

Upson Walk - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Friesian Way to its junction with Rayleigh Court.

Rayleigh Court - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Agar Place to its junction with The Pastures, including any turning heads.

Arla Mews - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Friesian Way to its end, excluding private drives (including turning head).

The Pastures - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Friesian Way, north, south, and west to its end (including turning heads, but excluding the visitor parking space opposite property No. 26).

This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting tiles TL785 117, TL785 120 revision 0 to revision 1.

2. To introduce: a '20mph Zone':

Road - Description

Old Dairy Approach - From a point approximately 10 metres southwest of its junction with Station Road, for its entire length.

Agar Place including Private Drives - For its entire length.

Friesian Way - For its entire length.

Upson Walk - For its entire length.

Rayleigh Court including Private Drives - For its entire length.

Arla Mews including Private Drives - For its entire length.

The Pastures including Private Drives - For its entire length.

(Footpaths 29, and 30, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close a length of Footpaths 29, and 30, Bradwell, in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 130 metres south of its junction with Fiveash Lane, south for approximately 445 metres to its junction with Footpath 29, and west on Footpath 29 for approximately 245 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 January 2024 to 01 July 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to allow for works to be carried out to install a Solar Farm.

The alternative route is via an informal route around the edge of the agricultural fields.

The Order will come into effect on 01 January 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. This Order may be extended by the Secretary of State if an extension is required.

(Footpath 63, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close a length of Footpath 63, Bradwell, in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Footpath 29, south then southwest for approximately 635 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 January 2024 to 01 July 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to allow for works to be carried out to install a Solar Farm.

The alternative route is via an informal route around the edge of the agricultural fields. The Order will come into effect on 01 January 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

This Order may be extended by the Secretary of State if an extension is required.

(Dunmow Road, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunmow Road, Rayne in the District of Braintree, from the junctions with Dunmow Road roundabout for a distance of approximately 300m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th January 2024 for 2 nights (19:30-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2352817 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching, kerbing and gully works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Dunmow Road; The Street; Rayne Road; Pods Brook Road; Panners Roundabout; Garden Village Way; Braintree Bypass (A120); Rayne Bypass (A120); Felsted Bypass (A120); Braintree Road; Dunmow Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 4th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Browning Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Browning Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chaucer Crescent for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2024 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01462606194 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ironwork installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Challis Lane, Masefield Road, Chaucer Crescent and vice versa (with access only into Browning Road).

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 80m south of its junction with Shardloes Lane for a distance of approximately 335m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th January 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FBA1262TLA01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Temple Lane, Witham Road, Polecat Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Feering Hill, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Feering Hill, Feering in the, District of Braintree from its junction with Rye Mill Lane to its junction with Station Road a distance of approximately 825m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 3 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2352965 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via B1024, A12 and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Friars Lane, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Friars Lane, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Friars Lane for a distance of approximately 65m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N7103DIS150342/4 - Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

No alternative route is available for this closure.

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hollies Road/Fiveash Lane, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hollies Road/ Fiveash Lane, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Coggeshall Road to the junction with Church Road a distance of approximately 2555m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2352223 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via A120 from J A131/B1256 to J B1024 North of Coggeshall, Coggeshall Road, The Street, Church Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lanham Green Road/Withies Green, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lanham Green Road/Withies Green, Bradwell in the District of Braintree from the junction with Hollies Road to the junction with Lanham Farm Road a distance approximately 1645m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2352236 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching, hedge trimming and signing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Hollies Road, Links Road, Boars Tye Road, Lanham Green and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Long Green, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Long Green, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 345m south east of its junction with Galleys Corner Roundabout for a distance approximately 245m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2024 for 84 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231009706 - MDS). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while roundabout construction works are undertaken by MDS.

An alternative route is available via Long Green, Ashes Road, The Street, Church Road, Temple Lane, Witham Road, Braintree Road, Cressing Road, Cressing Road Roundabout, Galley Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Long Green, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Long Green, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Galleys Corner Roundabout for a distance of approximately 740m in a south easterly direction to the point where the road name changes to Ashes Road. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th January 2024 for 1 night (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH234471 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Galley Roundabout, Cressing Road, Cressing Road Roundabout, Cressing Road, Braintree Road, Witham Road, Polecat Road, The Street, Ashes Road and vice versa.

(Maldon Road, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maldon Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Woodham Drive to its junction with Church Road a distance of approximately 160m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th January 2024 for 1 night (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2351859 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree from its junction with Braintree Road to its junction with Claud Ince Avenue a distance of approximately 185m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 23 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N5004P101794N0021306/R15 -The Electricity Network Company Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Oak Road/Henry Dixon Road, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road/Henry Dixon Road, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Rickstones Road to the junction with London Road a distance of approximately 1535m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2024 for 3 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2355176-EH2355175 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Panfield Lane, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Panfield Lane, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with the roundabout at Tabors College to its junction with Churchill Road a distance of approximately 1120m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2354186 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Powers Hall End, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Powers Hall End, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Terling Road to its junction with Flora Road (roundabout) a distance of approximately 310m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd January 2024 for 31 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001262603 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Flora Road and vice versa (with access only into Faulkbourne Road).

(Station Road, Kelvedon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Kelvedon in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 75m north west of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th January 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010743846/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via West Street, East Street, Colchester Road, A120, A12 (J25) Marks Tey Roundabout, A12 to J24, London Road, Feering Hill and vice versa (following one way system and with access only into Station Road, Coggeshall Road, Kelvedon Road, Grange Hill, Bridge Street and The Gravel).

The Order came into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
