The East Sussex (C340 Common Lane, Selmeston)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road; Temporary Road Closure
Common Lane – from the junction with C39 Station Road to Sierra Vista.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C340 Common Lane – A27(T) – C39 Station Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 5 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 5 and 8 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U7081 Church Farm Lane, Chalvington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road; Temporary Road Closure
Church Farm Lane – from the junction with C207 Poundfield Road to St Bartholomew Church.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible. The Order commences 5 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 5 and 8 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U7602 Sheepsetting Lane, Heathfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Sheepsetting Lane – from the junction with A267 Little London Road to the junction with U7368 Mill Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7368 Mill Road – U7369 Tilsmore Road – A265 High Street, Cross in Hand Road – C274 Pages Hill – A267 Little London Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 11 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 11 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C14 High Street, Mayfield)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road; Temporary Road Closure
High Street – from the junction with C14 Tunbridge Wells Road to the junction with C14 Station Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C14 Station Road, Stone Cross – A267 Mayfield bypass – C14 Tunbridge Wells Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 9 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs between 9 and 11 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U6201 Vicarage Road, Burwash Common) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A265 Slutts Well and vice versa.
The Order commences 8 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 8 and 9 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow The Clancy Group to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
St Annes Crescent – from the junction with C7 Winterbourne Hollow to no.49.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U5117 St Annes Crescent – A277 Western Road – C7 Winterbourne Hollow.
The Order commences 8 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 8 and 10 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U5996 Spatham Lane, Westmeston)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow Network Rail to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Spatham Lane – from the junction with B2116 Lewes Road to the junction with C71 Middleton Common Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C71 Folders Lane – B2112 Common Lane, North End – B2116 Lewes Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 8 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 8 and 9 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

Cliffe High Street – from the junction with Cliffe High Street to the junction with U5158 Foundry Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U5145 Railway Lane, Court Road – B2193 Friars Walk – A277 High Street – A2029 Market Street, North Street, Little East Street – A26 Phoenix Causeway – U5140 Malling Street – U5141 Cliffe High Street.
The Order commences 9 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 9 and 10 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
St Swithuns Lane – from the junction with A277 High Street to the junction with U5122 Stewards Inn Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U5122 Stewards Inn Lane – U5122 St Martins Lane – A277 High Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 8 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 8 and 19 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C207 Poundfield Road, Chalvington)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow ALS Civils Engineers Ltd to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road; Temporary Road Closure
Poundfield Road – from the junction with C207 Chalvington Road to Oakfield Bungalow.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C207 Chalvington Road – C331 Church Lane, The Street – C13 Mill Lane, Firle Road – A27(T) – C207 The Street, Langtye Lane, Poundfield Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 11 January 2024 and lasts for a period of
18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 09:00hrs to 15:00hrs between 11 and 18 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C411 Station Road, Hailsham)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow Electricity Network Company Limited to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Station Road – from the junction with U7219 Lindfield Drive to the junction with U7218 Swan Barn Road, in three phases:
Phase 1 – From the junction with U7219 Lindfield Drive to the junction with U7718 Station Road Industrial Estate;
Phase 2 – From the junction with U7718 Station Road Industrial Estate to the junction with U7970 Butts Field;
Phase 3 – From the junction with U7970 Butts Field to the site entrance just before the junction with the U7218 Swan Barn Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C411 Downash Road, Saltmarsh Road – B2104 Ersham Road – A295 South Road, George Street – C411 Station Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 8 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 8 January and 29 March 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.
